Manage_LTBI Nurses workshop Warsaw March 2026
While co-facilitating a nursing workshop on latent tuberculosis among people living with HIV, I had the privilege of introducing The PLHIV Documentary to nurses from across Central and Eastern Europe. The workshop created an important space for meaningful discussion, shared learning, and a deeper understanding of the lived experiences of people with HIV.
On the second day, we joined Professor Justyna Kowalska and her team at a television studio in Warsaw to film an educational video on latent tuberculosis. Each nurse contributed in their native language, sharing vital information about latent tuberculosis among people living with HIV. This collaborative and multilingual initiative was a powerful example of how education, professional expertise, and cross-border cooperation can help make essential health information more accessible to diverse communities.
